Oasis LMF Expands Footprint Across Europe: New Partnerships, Model Innovation, and Industry Collaboration

London, 23 April 2025 — Oasis Loss Modelling Framework (Oasis LMF), the leading open-source catastrophe modelling platform, is expanding its presence across Europe, with significant momentum in France. This growth is underscored by new partnerships, model innovations, and industry collaborations that continue to drive accessibility and innovation in catastrophe modelling.

Key Developments in Oasis’s European Expansion:

  • New members: Oasis is pleased to welcome Arundo Re (formerly CCR Re) as its newest member. The partnership highlights the growing demand for open-access modelling solutions within the European insurance and reinsurance markets.

  • New models for hail: Insurance Partners Europe (IPE) has introduced an advanced hail model for France, which has been licensed by Generali, showcasing its value across Europe and driving proactive catastrophe planning.

  • Industry Collaboration and innovation: Oasis LMF is co-hosting a conference with SCOR on 25 September in Paris, focusing on exposure management, innovation  modelling, and the benefits of the Oasis framework.
