Dr Richard Dixon has over 20 years experience in meteorological research, catastrophe model building and evaluation at catastrophe model vendors, brokers and re/insurers, specialising in development of views of risk through academic research and catastrophe model deep-dives. He currently splits his time between Head of Catastrophe Research at Inigo Insurance and carrying out research on catastrophe risk as Visiting Research Fellow at the Department of Meteorology, University of Reading.
