Beat Aeberhardt leads the development of Swiss Re's proprietary global NatCat risk assessment platform (CatServer and MultiSNAP) and has more than 10 years' experience in developing probabilistic NatCat models, tools and rating platforms.
He is part of the Group Underwriting Office at Swiss Re where he leads a multinational team of tool developers. Prior heading the NatCat tool team, he developed several probabilistic flood models as a flood specialist.
Beat Aeberhardt is a member of the board of directors at Oasis Loss Modelling Framework Ltd and holds a Masters degree in Rural Engineering from the ETH of Zurich and EPFL of Lausanne.
